Mental health triage and assessment for military veterans registered with GPs across Yorkshire and the Humber.
The South West Veterans Mental Health Service supports and empowers veterans to overcome mental health difficulties, by offering timely access to specialist assessment, effective treatment when required and relevant information and advice to meet their needs. We offer a bespoke training package to health and social care professionals to facilitate better understanding of veterans experiences.
The Ripple Pond groups are here for family members of those who have been impacted by events experienced, be that by physical injury or emotional trauma, while serving in the Armed Forces, however long ago and in whatever conflict or manner.
Fulfilling a need, there are now groups rippling through the United Kingdom and the hope is that family members seeking this particular kind of support will not have to travel too far to find someone and somewhere they can meet and share  experiences.​
Cobseo, as the Confederation of Service Charities, provides a single point of contact for interaction with Government, including local government and the Devolved Administrations; with the Royal Household; with the Private Sector; and, of course, with other members of the Armed Forces Community. distress to seek help. The directory contains information on many 
different types of distress, as well as articles, news, and events. To 
ensure the professionalism of our website, all counsellors have provided
us with qualifications and insurance cover or proof of membership with a 
professional body.
